Chapter 1 Suggestions to lay out field experiments (Chapter 2)

The first task for researchers and technicians is to draw a correct map for the experiment to be laid out in the field, which is also important to answer the questions from 7 to 9 in Chapter 2. It is necessary to consider:

  1. Length and width of the available space in the field
  2. Sowing direction
  3. Presence of fertility gradients of any kinds

Accordingly, do the following tasks

  1. Project the size of a plot, by considering the type of crop and its sowing density. Set the width, by considering the available sowing machine and its working width.
