Chapter 1 Suggestions to lay out field experiments (Chapter 2)
The first task for researchers and technicians is to draw a correct map for the experiment to be laid out in the field, which is also important to answer the questions from 7 to 9 in Chapter 2. It is necessary to consider:
- Length and width of the available space in the field
- Sowing direction
- Presence of fertility gradients of any kinds
Accordingly, do the following tasks
- Project the size of a plot, by considering the type of crop and its sowing density. Set the width, by considering the available sowing machine and its working width.
